Carola uses her extensive U.S.-Mexico cross-border experience to provide advice and counsel on a wide range of labor and employment matters. Leveraging her multicultural background, she conducts workplace investigations in both English and Spanish, accommodating a diverse portfolio of industries. Her areas of expertise, including traditional labor relations, workplace investigations, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, wage and hour, leaves of absence, employment litigation, and audits, have shaped her ethos: healthy workplaces start with legally compliant practices.

Prior to joining Clarus, Carola worked at a prominent employment defense firm where she advised and defended employers in a variety of labor and employment disputes. Carola also served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps.
